- Write software to fulfill well-specified, small-scoped work requests for your team's product(s), escalating more complex or ambiguous issues to senior engineers.
- Write software to fix simple bugs.
- Assist in investigating problems and recommending fixes for products within your team.
- Utilize knowledge of programming languages and the software ecosystem to accomplish goals.
- Provide feedback within your team regarding code changes made by other engineers and regarding designs for new enhancements.
- Produce documentation for your team’s products, code, and work items. Grow your skills and knowledge learning from mentors, reading books or online resources, or by observing your co-workers applying their skills and knowledge.
- Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Mathematics or equivalent field required
- 1 year of work experience in software programming. Experience must include at least one of the following languages: Java, C, C++, C#, Python, Go, or Perl
- 1 year of work experience building applications using at least one of the following:
- Web application technologies including: HTML, CSS, or JavaScript; or
- Databases, including MySQL, Mongo, or a similar program; or
- A collection of systems connected and communicating via a network connection.
